Have fun azzer. I have never been one for those kinds of concerts due to the crowds and the immaturity of the people there. But I have heard that they are a blast.

with my social phobia it was a tad hard too, there was 5000ยด+ people, and i have a hard time with 2 new people ><.
But it went alright, was a great concert, even though some female next to me started stripping... and rubbed her ass and boobs on me a lot... she was ugly, and i was there with a girl friend (not relation).
Edit: and Thank you

Not sure he had the room to move away from that girl xD.
I rarely go to any concert for two reasons :
-where I lived, there wasn't a lot of concerts I wanted to go
-it gets too hot during a concert, and I don't like to have sweaty clothes...
Of course now that I'm in France, there's a lot of concerts, but none I really want to go.
Immature people can be fun for a little period of time (after a while it just gets repetitive...).
I hate awkward situations...Even if I try my best to avoid them, I somehow manage to fall into one >.< so with time I developed different reactions to get out of them quickly without making it more awkward (but there are some you just can't avoid...).

never been to a concert that I was not part of (band in high school and college)....have been to a few orchestra performances, but usually no one removes clothing during those---
I had enough of loud music playing in bands so that I never had the need to blow out the rest of my hearing at a concert, not to mention the crowds----
and the WORST part of concerts---getting home, driving thru the rush of traffic that backs up due to everyone trying to leave at the same time----will do a really big PASS on that one.
but +++azzer!! you have more guts than I!!
I spent my day sleeping (my accu appointments will do that do me the next day)....my ribs feel a weeee bit better, but still hurts a lot (coughing, sneezing--had to stop my allergy meds since they dont play well with the relaxers )...and today they decided they needed to clean out the gutters, right over my bedroom at the precise moment I was falling asleep
ah such is life.

I've been to plenty of concerts, just not rock or pop or what not. Always winds concerts, but that because my dad is the director for them. Another reason I avoid crowded places, I hate having to drive/park around there. to many idiots that I have to watch out for. Pass on that.
My day was spent working on some homework and relaxing. So nice to have time to relax. And only two days of class then a break. So looking forward to break...

I just found out a few months ago the doc who was my pediatrician waaaay back had died (she had to have been like 100 since she was a little old white haired greek lady when I was born 40+ years ago)....now I am lucky if my doctor takes 2 minutes to do more than take my bp. Thats why I like the holistic doctors, they not only take the time but also try to figure out if there is a connection between ailments and doctors from china (like my acupuncturist) seem to want to try to figure out WHY you are sick--why it happened, not just treat the symptoms (which may return anyways)...WHY are you having headaches, etc.....not just take a pill and call me if it doesnt work so you can pay me even more on the next visit
ah, gotta get off that soap box....it only makes me more upset
(though reading the news today---full body scans or very invasive pat downs at the airport.....maybe I will just take amtrak down to my mom next year----)

always had a full week off for thanksgiving in college as it was the end of the quarter---and right after we began winter quarter with 3 or 4 weeks until xmas break (which was only 2 weeks) ....the system worked so that we had 11 weeks before thanksgiving and the rest was figured out from there....was an easy system to remember, just do 11 weeks from thanksgiving and that is when school starts....11 weeks after (with 2 weeks out for xmas) that is when spring break would be....etc. Nice and easy.
I hate semesters.
my ribs are killing me today, so think I will have to cut this one short (awwwww, yeah thanks)....

I wish we got a full week but nooooo. My University has to be stupid and only give us 3 days off. They claim it is because we get a 2 day Fall Break, but really, since other colleges gets days off such as Memorial Day, etc, we get less breaks than they do. Bunch of BS. Stupid administration here. ><
Sorry to hear your ribs are hurting cosy. I hope they fix you up real soon!

Today I was at my first musical (yes i'm trying new things) it was a Monthy Python ripoff + it was in english, was freaking hilarious, my friend and I laughed, but the guy next to me laughed even more, even when it was not funny + he smelled weird..
I'm so unlucky with "neighbours" at these things haha, but no, was awesome as hell.
tomorrow it's Harry potter with my friends girlfriend. he don't want to go so, i might as well as the movie is something i'll probably like.
haven't had stomach pain in 2-3 months now, it's great, and i'm gettting happier by the minute, like in the old days when i was called Mr.Happy.

thats great to hear azzer....mr happy would be a nice name for you.
colleges--went to a private one, no gov't holidays off (veterans what?? columbus who?) so yeah pwnd I know what you are talking about, our holiday schedule was very close to what we had in high school so it was easy to adjust, but crummy when you find everyone else is on holiday and you are in class
(took a nice nap, ribs like naps...so not hurting so much now).

Musicals are interesting, imo they are hit and miss. They are either really good or pretty bad. Just depends I guess.
I think I am taking my gf to go see Harry Potter tomorrow as well. Though I think we are going to try to catch an afternoon show since otherwise it will probably be packed to the brim, which we don't want. That would be bad.

I will wait until harry is on dvd, dont like movie theaters and 90% of those who are going will be much younger than I---another reason to avoid....
I was in a bunch of musicals in school....havent seen one since college though...........

That is why we are going to go tomorrow at 12:15pm, hopefully early enough that there won't be the huge crowds. Taking her out to lunch beforehand since it is a looooong movie (150 minutes!). Crazy...

I hope you are right, though the 'early' show would be one I would send the kiddies to---so dont be surprised if the audience is quite a bit younger than you even.
IF I went I would wait until its been out a while (like close to when it would be leaving) that way most of those who wanted to see it have, and the theaters are usually empty

We're going at 12.00 pm too pwnd :P
Actually Cosy, the times i've seen harry potter, most people has actually been 18-50 years old, the screaming teenagers are mainly on for Twilight now anyway. hehe.
I like the mood there is when the theater is filled though, and you can be lucky and sit next to a hot girl, so who knows.
